Jamaica has several private medical facilities with modern amenities, state-of-the-art equipment, that are staffed by highly-skilled doctors who employ innovative treatment which helps to reduce the rate of infection and the recovery period. Some of these facilities have taken steps to align their operating procedures with JCI standards while others have started the process of becoming JCI compliant by adopting international best practices.
